Ginger Pork Stir Fry Recipe

Stir-fries are a great way to get a full meal on the table with minimal effort. This delicious ginger pork stir fry is sure to become a family favorite. With tender pork, crisp vegetables, and a flavorful ginger sauce, it is the perfect dish to serve for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork tenderloin, cut into thin slices
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 onion, cut into thin slices
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork slices and cook until lightly browned, about 2 minutes per side. Remove the pork from the pan and set aside.

2. Add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet and cook until the vegetables are softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Return the pork to the skillet.

3. In a small bowl, whisk together the ginger, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Pour the mixture over the pork and vegetables and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.

4. Season the stir fry with salt and pepper, to taste. Serve the stir fry over steamed rice.

Tips

This stir fry can also be made with chicken or beef. You can also add other vegetables, such as mushrooms, zucchini, or broccoli to the stir fry.

If you like a spicy stir fry, add a dash of red pepper flakes to the sauce or serve the stir fry with a side of Sriracha.
